The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is Australia’s oldest public art gallery, founded in 1861 near the heart of the Melbourne CBD.
Today, the NGV has two homes within easy walking distance of each other; the main and largest part of the gallery – NGV International – is located on St Kilda Road in the Melbourne Arts Precinct of Southbank.
