Attracting well than 80,000 people to the city every year, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week showcases the collections of new and emerging designers. The event brings to the forefront the very best in Australian and, particularly, Melbourne fashion design.
One of two fashion weeks held each year in Melbourne, the event brings the best of spring / summer fashion to the city. The program features well over 100 events, including official catwalks, films, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, tours, pop-ups and – of course – parties.
Visitors will get a glimpse of Melbourne sophistication at its very best, with the city’s famous retail strips and laneways displaying fresh and exciting fashion and design ideas.
Much more than simply a fashion parade, Melbourne Spring Fashion Week also provides numerous opportunities to learn about the industry, and aims to foster innovation, education and growth in the sector.
Melbourne Spring Fashion Week takes place at various venues in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, mostly located around major shopping strips on Collins St and Bourke St. The event is presented by the City of Melbourne in conjunction with the State Government.
